Hello team,
A 40-year ban on the merging of the Times and Sunday Times, two papers owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp, has been lifted.
Symbolically this is significant, and legally it could become significant. However, it’s not actually a huge departure from the way things have been over the last few decades.
